About

I’m Marco Cotrufo. I write software for a living, and at home I run a homelab that I treat like production.

This site is where I keep my notes. Each post answers one question I had to answer for myself, usually after something broke.

Most posts come from the homelab: one server, one Ansible repository with around eighty roles, CI on a self-hosted Forgejo, Prometheus and Grafana watching all of it. The rest is AWS and programming.

The code and config in the posts come from my own repositories, trimmed, with private details removed.

You can find me on GitHub.
